Shorts, a hassle free blog
Introducing Shorts
I have decided to try a different type of blog. It’s only to be one paragraph, and I have ten minutes to write it. I will post it any time of the day, only one per day, and I will link it on Facebook. I imagine a lot of these will come from things that happen when I go to the coffee bar in the morning. Here goes..
When I walked in the coffee bar today, there were two sets of juggling balls on the counter. I was told to take one set away. I imagine someone just brought them in or had them left over from the recent carnival that I missed, as I was at the dog rescue place. Let’s see how I get on!
Secondly, the worker from Sifnos came in and he looked in pain. I asked him if he had pain in Greek and he pointed to his back. I said sorry back to him Greek. He sat next to me. Turns out he has a good command of English! So he was going to the Medical Centre, to see what they could do, it’s an old problem he has had before. He told me he had tried the Volterol cream, he might go to Sifnos for physio or somewhere else. I asked him if he needed a lift, he usually runs around on a scooter but someone was driving him, very slowly he said. I managed to tell Marinos that I was seeing a friend tomorrow and going to the dog rescue place Saturday, all in Greek, it’s not that hard actually. I also have some Greek, that I will use to tell them I am going to the UK Sunday, and be back in two weeks. Bit by bit, I am communicating more which is great. Marinos is also speaking slowly to me to increase the chances of me understanding!

Good luck juggling! Nice to have a blog back
